At the time of this typing, Merge Cube is available at some WalMart locations for only $1. Also, most of the apps for it are free!
The video below will introduce you to the Merge Cube. A cube when combined with one of its many available apps will layer Augmented Reality over the cube that you can interact with. A variety of apps are available that provide educational content as well as some gaming. Most of the apps are free. This is a newer item with new titles being added often. They also opened up the cube to developers who are creating some sophisticated fee-based apps for it.
