Microsoft, Accessibility and Inclusivity

Concurrent, Multihour, Webinar

In this session, we delve into a variety of solutions that empower educators and students. We explore Reading Progress, a free web-based tool that promotes reading fluency and can be used on various platforms, including Chromebooks. Additionally, we discuss Microsoft Reflect, a tool integrated within Microsoft Education (now available standalone on the web) that supports social and emotional learning by providing an engaging and fun platform for students to share their feelings and thoughts. Furthermore, we look at Immersive Reader, an inclusively designed tool that enhances reading comprehension by customizing the layout of text and images, making online reading easier and more accessible for everyone. Notably, Immersive Reader is even available on Microsoft Lens, a tool that digitizes physical documents, making them accessible to all. If time allows, we will also explore Microsoft Translator and how it can assist in everything from conversations to large presentations, including PowerPoint. Join us as we break down barriers in education and foster inclusivity for all students!
