Spike

Introduction Did you just stumble upon a road cart, or are you sitting in a presentation and saw an intro slide mentioning Spike and wondering what’s going on? Let me explain.

About Me If the image of the person on the cart is new to you, I am Leslie Fisher. I am presenting at this conference. I have been keynoting and featured speaking at Educational Technology Conferences for 27 years. I absolutely love what I do and appreciate you being an educator or supporting educators.

The Idea Along the way, I realized that many educators love swag, and I also love a chance to have additional time with educators. So, I figured, let’s combine the two.

Meet Spike Shennaniswaggon Spike Shenaniswaggon is a road cart that should have swag on him. He even has additional swag inside him, but you need to ask someone for it. He even has a secret menu of additional swag you can ask for, which changes often. He might even have iCloths in him. He is even on Instagram. He used to have his own swag (before his glow up) and that should return sometime soon.

The Origin The idea for a swag cart first came about thanks to iCloth, who makes cleaning cloths that I love. They are actually the only wet cloth allowed in US and Canadian airplane cockpits, and they used to have a booth made from used airplane parts. My first swag cart was created by them and was a used airline cart. He became popular with people who learned about him.

The Transition iCloth used to handle all of its shipping logistics, but when they stopped exhibiting, his logistics fell to me, and it became a tougher and more costly process. So, Spike reincarnated himself as a road cart that can store more, is easier logistically, and is more affordable to ship. It’s an all-around win.

Final Note: Feel free to say hi to Spike, ask for some additional swag, etc. I am constantly adding swag. His menu changes often, so if you see him at another conference, make sure you check his swag page again. If you have read this far, you might have noticed that I have provided this swag link enough for you to know that the link takes you to all things current swag.

He loves selfies and is also on Instagram. He can be a bit snarky on Instagram, but he means well.
